MUSICAL THEATRE PIECE Saturday, June 6, 8:30 PM & Sunday, June 7, 3:00 PM – Unstoppable: The Story of Marilyn 📍 Theater De Liefde, Haarlem A compelling theater production that tells the true story of Norma Jeane Baker: the woman behind the icon Marilyn Monroe. Through music, acting and narration, her vulnerability, strength and influence become palpable. May 30th to June 7th – Marilyn Covers Exposed 📍 Truffles Eetertainment, Donkere Spaarne 28zw A unique exhibition of hundreds of magazines with Marilyn Monroe on the cover. From her very first appearance in 1946 to the very latest issues of last week. A must for fans and collectors. The collection of Marco van der Munnik will be given a beautiful tribute during the festival. Curators: Willemijn Faber and Cilia Tel of Artvark. 🆓 Free admission
May 30 – June 7 – Marilyn in Art 📍 Spaarnwouderstraat: Naaiatelier Haarlem, gallery SPW59 & gallery Tanja Kuiperi More than 35 artists present paintings, sculptures, illustrations and installations inspired by Marilyn. From classical to modern, from intimate to grand. A multifaceted tribute to her lasting influence on art and culture. Almost all works are for sale during the festival.
